Stephen has been involved in financial services for over 30 years. His experience covers general management and implementation roles across financial advice, business services, and product solutions. Stephen’s depth and diversity of experience have allowed him to be a part of transformation and engagement programs benefiting licensees, financial advisers, and their clients.

John has over 20 years experience in the distribution of investment funds, research and portfolio consulting services specialising in the design and provision of managed accounts solutions to retail advice firms.  John joined Investsense in 2023 having previously worked for 13 years at Zenith Investment Partners as National Head of Sales. Prior to Zenith he worked at Macquarie bank as Regional Distribution manager in their Real Estate funds division. John has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a post graduate degree in Property Investment and Development.

Daniel undertakes qualitative and quantitative research that facilitates the analysis of investments, trades and portfolios. He also supports various other investment operations including writing commentary on portfolios, investments and markets as well as participating in fund manager reviews and handling client enquiries related to investments.

Daniel joined the InvestSense team in 2018. He is eager to progress within the company and sees the essential value that financial advisers bring to the Australian financial services industry.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.

Adrian assists in the research and analysis of investments, trades and portfolios, and helps review fund managers and examine markets. Adrian joined the InvestSense team in 2020, keen to help improve our systems and grow our offering.

Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Mathematics) and Master of Economics from the University of Sydney.

Joel has around 10 years of experience working within the financial services industry and has worked in numerous roles in the financial advice and investment management space.

Prior to joining InvestSense he was working as an investment analyst at AZ Sestante, an investment consultant, and managed accounts provider, where he was responsible for fund manager research and assisting with asset allocation and portfolio management. Prior to that he worked as an Investment Analyst at a wealth management business in Wollongong where he was responsible for investment due diligence, managing separately managed account portfolios, and conducting research on a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, property, infrastructure, with a particular focus on private markets and alternative investments.

Joel has also held various roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), including Associate Adviser, Wholesale Investments Team Analyst at CBA Private, and Case Assessment Officer for advice remediation. These experiences have provided him with a solid foundation in financial advice, compliance, and investment research.

Joel holds a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle and is a CFA Charterholder.

Andrew works closely with InvestSense in a consulting role, having worked with the InvestSense team since 2012. Andrew spent over 12 years as an economist advising both the Board and portfolio managers of the Dresdner Bank Group, initially in the UK and subsequently based in the Asian Region. In the late 1980s while based in London, Andrew worked extensively on the UK’s Lawson Boom and subsequent unwinding, as well as on the various travails and ultimate break-up of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. Andrew also covered the events that led up to the S&L Crisis of 1989-90.

Whilst in Asia, Andrew covered both the formation and bursting of the Japanese Bubble Economy and the Asian Boom and Bust of the 1990s. Indeed, it has been suggested that Andrew was one of the few economists to correctly predict both the preceding upswings and the timing and consequences of the subsequent crises that were associated with these episodes. On returning to London in the late 1990s, Andrew covered the NASDAQ Bubble and the formation of the Euro.

Andrew has an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Bristol in the UK and an unfinished PhD on Japanese Monetary Policy formation that one day he hopes to finally complete. He is a member of the Institute of New Economic Thinking and an occasional contributor to the financial media.
